Coaching Philosophy
I'm a youth and collegiate rowing coach and community program builder with over fifteen years of experience developing inclusive, development-focused programs for athletes ages 12 and up. I believe great crews are built over the long term: technical standards and race results follow from a positive squad culture and athletes who are supported as people first. I've worked to expand access to rowing for underserved youth, partnered with community organizations, and mentored athletes through their athletic and personal development, from first strokes on the erg to the college recruiting process.
